Have you ever had a moment when you know what you want but could not find it? Well that is where I am at the moment. I find myself here quite often. I have looked online (which I am beyond proficient at), I have looked in stores, consignment shops, thrift stores, and I even got desperate and went to Wal-Mart! My mother feels that I should just design clothes (Yes, like I said this happens often) but I ignore her. I shouldn't I know and I will blame myself later for it. A month ago I was looking for riding pants (the pants with the leather patches on the inside of thighs). I didn't want the thick ones that are actually used for riding; I wanted a designer's rendition of riding pants that are used for purely aesthetically pleasing purposes. And here is the problem; I couldn't find them, anywhere! I know riding pants are not always in style but they are my style. Any article of clothing that makes your legs look curvier and sleek, regardless if it is an optical illusion, is my style. Again, I had that thought "I need a tailor", now I am at that place looking for of all things an emerald green (not bright but saturated green) cashmere tunic sweater (mock turtle, round or V- shaped neckline, see not picky). That is it, and it is driving me mad that I cannot find this item. I need a tailor. Unfortunately, I don't have one at the moment. I think I will start looking in this new area I live in now and see if I can find one, a good one.
I still am looking for those riding pants...
